Hello everyone! Okay, so today I was going through my pictures on my phone and I ran across a picture of a sunset that I had taken at work a while back. I am a field supervisor at a recreational park in my home-town and certain nights a week we will have practice. Well it was soccer season when I took this picture and because there are so many little kids that can potentially get hurt, one of the things I have to do as a field supervisor is watch everything from a distance in case of emergency. Well there is one spot that I can stand at and I can see the whole field. It also is the spot where I can see the sun set in the distance. So every now and then, it will be this absolute beautiful sky and I will snap a picture of it.
I can’t explain to you how beautiful it is. It is just in that one spot that you can see the sun set perfectly. And it makes it extra special when it has been a crazy couple hours at work and you get to see this radiant masterpiece resting in front of you saying, “look at me. Look at my beauty and remember that we have the same creator and He is still in control.” The thing that gets me every single time is that no sunset is the same. Each one is different and each one is just as beautiful as the one before it. And even on the days that we can’t see the sun, it is still there setting at the end of the day. The sun will never fail to rise or set because it was commanded to stay until the day the Lord comes back.
The creator of the sun is the same creator of you and me. He put every detail imaginable in each one of us. And just like each sunset is different, each one of us are different. And we are all just as beautiful as every sunset each night. The sun was made to separate light from darkness and that is what we are supposed to be. We are supposed to be the light to the darkness because we have Jesus in us.
Do you see the resemblance I am talking about? I hope you can because it all just occurred to me today and I wanted to share it with you. The Lord loves each detail he created in you way more than he loves each detail he creates in every sunset. And you know what is cool about it? He never forgets to create a sunset. Never! So he will certainly not forget about you. Love you guys!
